Concrete Leveler Calculator

This concrete leveler calculator converts floor area and average pour depth into self-leveling compound bags. The trick with any concrete leveling calculator is the average depth — levelers feather from zero to the low spot's full depth.

Como usar esta calculadora

  1. Insira suas dimensões — pés para comprimentos, polegadas para a espessura.
  2. Ajuste as opções — porcentagem de desperdício, tamanho do saco e o preço local do concreto.
  3. Leia seus resultados — volume, sacos, peso e custo são atualizados ao vivo enquanto você digita.

A fórmula

Volume = area × average depth; bags = volume ÷ 0.44 ft³ per 50 lb bag (+10% waste)

Exemplo resolvido: 200 ft² at an average 1/4 in depth: 200 × 0.0208 = 4.2 ft³ → ≈ 11 × 50 lb bags with waste.

Find average depth honestly: map the floor with a straightedge or laser, note the deepest dips, and average across the whole area — a floor that's flat except one 1-inch dip over 10% of the area averages just 0.1 inch.

One 50 lb bag of self-leveling underlayment yields about 0.44 ft³ — enough to cover 50 ft² at 1/8 inch or 12 ft² at 1/2 inch. Deep fills (over 1 inch) usually allow extending the mix with pea gravel; check your product's spec.

Leveler sets in minutes, so bag count discipline matters: stage all bags, water and mixing barrels before starting, and pour the whole area in one continuous operation.

Perguntas frequentes

Perguntas comuns sobre a concrete leveler calculator.

How many bags of self-leveler do I need?

Area × average depth ÷ 0.44 ft³ per 50 lb bag. 100 ft² at 1/4 in average ≈ 5 bags before waste.

How do I find the average depth?

Check the floor with a straightedge and laser at a grid of points; average the readings. Most 'wavy' floors average 1/8–3/8 inch.

How thick can self-leveler go?

Typically 1/8 in feather-edge up to 1–2 in neat, and up to 5 in extended with aggregate — always per the specific product's data sheet.

Is self-leveler the same as concrete?

No — it's a cement-based underlayment for flatness, not a structural wear surface. Top it with flooring or use a topping mix for exposed surfaces.
